Also, in Left 4 Dead 2, "The Parish" campaign was the first campaign to be developed according to the developers of the game, Valve. This is the reason why it is the only playable campaign in the demo version. Did you know that this campain's first two chapters "Waterfront" and "The Park" we're supposed to be one chapter? The difference being that many textures in the level are missing (according to my test) and the only difference being the bus depot's crescendo event being a decontamination zone spraying gas instead of a trailer setting off the alarm. Also the park was supposed to be a maze but it was too difficult for the playtesters to get through. Due to the merge of chapters being separated, this is why the first two chapters of the campaign are so short. If they were both one chapter (as mentioned above), it would play out as a normal lengthened chapter. It can played in the PC version using the developers console by typing in the command "map c5m1 waterfront_sndscape". I know because I played the chapter. It seemed like a normal one, but the normal first 2 chapters seem so short to me. If they were merged it could have passed as a normal chapter.
